You’ll probably be a bit tired and probably a little hungover (you know it’s true) from Night 1, but the party is just getting started! Friday night is when the real fun begins at Country Thunder, and this year won’t be any different, especially with this star-studded lineup.

Taking the stage on Friday, we have Gunnar & The Grizzly Boys, Runaway June, Aaron Watson, Maddie & Tae, Jon Pardi, and headlining the night is hometown boy Dierks Bentley!

Gunnar & The Grizzly Boys

Since then, they’ve been busy playing major music festivals across the country and have even put out two albums! With their great stage energy, it’s no wonder that they were chosen to kick off Night 2!

Runaway June

You might know tImage result for runaway junehem for their song “Lipstick”, and if you were lucky enough to score tickets to KNIX’s Second Secret Show, then you got to see them live! The trio  made up of Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne has a great, raw sound, and some might even say that they are the next Dixie Chicks!

Fun Fact: Singer/guitarist Jennifer Wayne is married to singer William Michael Morgan and also happens to be the late John Wayne’s granddaughter! Pretty cool!

Be sure to give them a listen before they hit the Country Thunder stage and be sure to follow them on Facebook & Twitter!

Aaron Watson

You’ve probably heard a song or two (or all) from one of his 10 albums including his most recent, Vaquero! Aaron’s hardworking and persistent attitude makes him the perfect addition to the Country Thunder lineup!

There’s still time to memorize all of his songs! Follow Aaron on Facebook and Twitter!

Maddie & Tae

With just one album so far, and a few awards under their belt, we know we will be hearing more of them very soon!

Listen to their album “Start Here” and connect with the girls on Facebook and Twitter!

Jon Pardi

You’ve had “Dirt On My Boots” and “Head Over Boots” stuck in your head (the man has a thing with footwear) and now you get to sing along on Friday night at Country Thunder! You’ll notice that John Pardi’s traditional sound is a bit different than the music you typically hear on country radio, but he’s unapologetically channeling his inner George Strait and Marty Stuart. And we can’t say that we are complaining!

Give his traditional sound a listen here and find Jon on Facebook & Twitter!

Dierks Bentley

And now, a man who needs no introduction in Arizona, Dierks Bentley! Chances are, if you’re from Arizona, you’ve seen Dierks Bentley more than one time, and every time it just gets better and better! His hometown sets are filled with stories reminiscing of his younger, rebellious years from when he lived here with at least one shout out to his supportive parents in the crowd. A Dierks concert is one big party, which is why him and the Country Thunder crowd are the perfect match!

Follow Dierks on Facebook and Twitter! And, even though you know every song, go ahead and give them a listen before the show!
