If you haven’t gotten your Country Thunder ticket yet, you’re running out of time! We are just a few weeks away, and, in opinion, this might just be the best lineup we’ve seen in a long time.
To kick off the festival on Thursday night, we have Brandon Ray, Jackson Michelson, Terri Clark, LOCASH and Chris Young!
Brandon is a West-Texas native who made his way to Nashville to pursue his passion. He has spent summers opening for bands like Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift and Switchfoot and has also played guitar for Brett Eldredge!
Want to give him a listen? Click here to hear “American Way“, “That Could Be Us” & more from Brandon Ray!
Small town boy Jackson is ready to hit the big stage this April! Selling merch while on tour with his brother’s Christian band growing up gave Jackson the motivation to write and perform his own music. He’s opened for artists like Blake Shelton, Frankie Ballard and Lee Brice, so it’s safe to say he is ready for the big Country Thunder crowd!
You may have heard his song “The Good Life” on SiriusXM! Listen here.
If you’re a 90s country fan like me, then you were probably also jumping for joy when you saw Terri Clark’s name on the 2017 Country Thunder lineup! With hits like “Better Things To Do,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “Girls Lie Too,” and “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” the crowd is bound to be singing along throughout the entire set. Bring on the nostalgia!
You know their hit singles “I Know Somebody” and “I Love This Life” and now you’ll get to see Chris and Preston live at Country Thunder!
This duo – formerly known as the LoCash Cowboys – is bound to bring some serious energy to the stage, so get ready! The pair has written songs for big stars like Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and, fellow Country Thunder artist, Joe Nichols!
When Chris Young was announced as Thursday’s headliner, I was ecstatic! He never fails to impress me every time that I see him live, and if you haven’t had that opportunity, you are in luck! If you can only go to one night of Country Thunder this year, I would recommend Night 1!
Chris has so many hits and his deep voice mixed with the crowd singing is the perfect combo! The night is bound to be filled with Chris singing his big hits like “I’m Comin’ Over,” “You”, “Lonely Eyes,” “Aw Nah,” “Neon”, “Tomorrow,” and, well, you get the point. Chris Young has a true country voice and the best part? He’s the most humble artist I’ve ever seen! The only thing that would make it better is if Cassadee Pope surprised us on stage during “Think of You”. Hey! Anything can happen at Country Thunder!
