What's On My List

Country Break Up Songs For Every Situation

The best way to get over someone is to get it all out. And the best way to do that is to find a good country song that you can relate to and listen to it on repeat for 3 days straight. Okay, that was a little dramatic, but we all know that listening to relatable music can, for whatever reason, help remedy any situation. Whether you post the lyrics underneath an Instagram photo of you and your rebound, or scream out the words when you’re driving down the freeway, these songs definitely come in handy.

For the one who won’t commit…                                 “What Do You Want?” by Jerrod Neimann

When you’ve moved on…                                           “Love Don’t Live Here” by Lady Antebellum

The obligatory Taylor Swift song…                                                      “All Too Well” by Taylor Swift

The one you weren’t ever really anything with…                      “Come Over” by Kenny Chesney

When you run into them everywhere…            “I Know You’re Gonna’ Be There” by Luke Bryan

When your feelings were stronger than theirs…        “Wanted You More” by Lady Antebellum

When you still love them…                          “Remind Me” by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood

When no one understands…                         “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” by Brantley Gilbert

When you don’t know when you stop…                      “Still Don’t Stop Me” by Jessica Simpson*

Because you’re doing this exact thing right now…                         “Record Year” by Eric Church

BONUS: Lady Antebellum’s entire Own The Night album is fabulous and you should definitely listen to it if you’re going through a break up.

*Don’t judge me. This was from when Jessica Simpson went country for four minutes. It’s a good song, just listen.
